Since joining Stuart Carlyon in 2011 as an Adviser Assistant, Shahul has evolved into a fully qualified Financial Adviser, and consistently embodying the core values and ethos of our company.
In recognition of his outstanding dedication and contribution, Shahul has accepted the invitation in December 2025 to take up a shareholding in the company, making him a Principal of the firm.
During his time at Stuart Carlyon, Shahul has worked on a variety of client situations and has managed some key projects in the areas of research and business operations. He previously worked as an accountant at BDO Auckland.
Shahul is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland. He is also a member of Financial Advice New Zealand.
